Dear Emily Carr,
Since my field trip I have been wondering about somethings. that is you art you made in the beginning.I have been wondering why you did the final product in charcoal. During your time there were pencils, paints, and pastels . my guess is that everything else was to expensive, and charcoal was the most easy to obtain.I also would like to know why you were so alone.not that it was a bad thing (because personally I like doing art by myself) but wouldn't having some one to share your ideas and thoughts to make you feel more inspired with your work?My guess for this is that you had trouble with trusting people, because someone you thought who you could trust turned to be someone you couldn't.I would understand if that was why because thats the same with me. In the end you were a very successful artist. that is something you should be proud of. -Breanna Boutet |
